Project Melody is a student-led volunteer group dedicated to spreading our love and passion for music. Throughout the past year, we have held multiple concerts, including a fundraiser concert and several senior home performances. We plan to expand our project to play for more varieties of people, as well as help and mentor younger and less-advanced musicians.
To empower youth of all skill levels to express themselves through music while using performance as a form of community service. Project Melody aims to bring joy, connection, and cultural appreciation to diverse audiences, including senior care homes and local festivals, through meaningful musical experiences.
🎯Foster youth leadership and confidence by encouraging young musicians to form their own chamber groups and take initiative in collaborative performances.
🎯Provide inclusive performance opportunities in low-pressure, supportive environments to help students grow as musicians and individuals.
🎯Expand our outreach by organizing concerts for underrepresented audiences, including senior residents, cultural festivals, and local fundraisers.
🎯Celebrate cultural diversity by showcasing traditional music and dance from various cultures, including Chinese folk music and performance arts.
🎯Inspire joy and connection through live music, bringing familiar and sentimental melodies to our audiences and creating moments of nostalgia, healing, and happiness.
We are deeply grateful to our sponsors, donors, and community partners who make our work possible. Your support allows us to reach more people, perform more frequently, and create richer experiences for both our audiences and performers. Special thanks to our collaborators at events such as the ACAN Cultural Festival.
